TungstenFabric (TF) is an open source, multi-cloud, multi-stack software-defined networking (SDN) platform. It works with various orchestration stacks like OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMWare and Mesos. It has been gaining traction in the Telecom as well as Enterprise private/public clouds.

TungstenFabric has a large and rapidly growing footprint at Workday for powering networking for the OpenStack based Workday Private Cloud. Running TF at Scale involves optimizing various different components of the TF stack, external dependencies and parts of the underlying physical network. In this talk, Mick & David will discuss what scale looks like from a Workday Private Cloud perspective and go through Workday's journey - challenges, optimizations and lessons learnt of running TF at scale.
